Since January 1, 2025, extended producer responsibility for industrial and commercial packaging (EPR EIC) has been fully applicable in France. Driven by the AGEC law (Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy), EPR EIC covers primary, secondary and tertiary packaging: drums, crates, crates, cardboard, film, drums, pallets… and point-of-sale advertising! All materials are involved – cardboard, wood, plastics, glass, steel, aluminum – with the aim of encouraging reuse and recycling.
